Intergraph is looking for a:

Application Support Analyst

The Job:
The Application Support Analyst provides Europe-wide functional support to Intergraph’s core business applications. The application support analyst operates as a team member of the European Head Quarters (EHQ) IS department. The main part of the job will be on-going functional support of business applications.

Main Tasks:

  • Provide functional support for end-users of business applications.
  • Prepare and maintain end-user documentation describing functionality and work processes regarding business applications.
  • Evaluate user and business requirements and bring forward proposals for improvements meeting these requirements or provide arguments showing irrelevance of these requirements. This can be a task of curative nature as well as one of a preventive nature.
  • Incident solving by identifying the cause and severity. Discuss and bring forward a problem solving plan. In case of a supplier error escalate and follow-up progress.
  • Cross-train product knowledge with other team members thus contributing to spreading application-specific knowledge.
  • Establish and ensure good communication between EHQ and the regions.

Responsible for:

  • Executing all of the above mentioned tasks.
  • Contribution to EHQ IS team performance.
  • Participation in projects.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Education level at MBO (niveau 3 or 4) or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • General understanding of common business administration (basic accounting and order administration principles).
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience with functional support of business applications is required.
  • Familiar with performing tasks guide lined by a project structure frame work.
  • Experience with Office products.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP applications is preferred.
  • Good communication skills and fluent in English
