Job Summary:

The ICT Division operates under the supervision of the Executive Director ICT and is responsible for the ICT infrastructure of GarantiBank International NV which consists of a large TCP/IP network with Windows and Unix servers and workstations. 

As a System and Network Engineer you will be a member of the ICT Infrastructure Team who is responsible for maintaining the servers, systems and network (mainly UNIX) of GBI.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installing, upgrading and maintaining UNIX systems


• Understanding, installing and maintaining Cisco and CheckPoint network equipment


• Creating and updating procedures


• Daily system checking


• Improving the systems and processes


• Be on standby support outside office hours


• Contact with end users and suppliers

Skills/Qualifications:

• Dynamic and self-motivated


• Team worker


• Excellent command of English


• Good communicator


• Service minded

Education and Experience:

• University graduate in IT system engineering or similar


• A proven track record of at least 5 years, preferably 8 year) experience with IT environments (Windows Server, Active Directory Designs, SQL Server, Exchange Server)


• Experience with IBM AIX UNIX and Linux is highly preferred
