Job description
• Evaluate and determine if and how data can be recovered from a wide variety of recording and storage media, including magnetic and optical media, file and mail systems.
• Recover data from media with a wide variety of problems, including minor physical, electrical, and firmware damage.
• Replace defective read/write recording head assemblies and transplant platters on defective hard drives.
• Analyze and repair damaged file systems and deleted files.
• Prepare data return to clients on new recording and storage media.

Requirements
• Hands on experience disassembling various computer and peripherals hardware a must
• 1 year of experience in IT industry / help desk support. Bachelor Degree in Computer or Electronic Engineering is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of MS DOS and MS Windows is required. Apple Mac OS and UNIX is a plus.
• Electronic components soldering skills.
• Programming and scripting skills is a plus.
